Stay for about a week · Checked in Sept 2026I have to say, you really have to look to Shanghainese people when it comes to getting things done. Other guesthouses gave me a lot of trouble, which made me quite wary. Ningning's place, however, was exactly as described. Just bring your bags and check in; if you didn't bring much, it wouldn't be a problem at all. The best part was that the amenities—shampoo and shower gel—were exactly the same as what I used before, making me feel right at home. Most importantly, the cleanliness was impeccable; not a speck of dust in any corner. The cleaning lady was great. The bed was clean, not the cheap white hotel kind. And, I hate disposable towels, but there weren't many disposable items here, which gave my OCD and germaphobia a temporary reprieve. I suggest adding a hand towel to the kitchen; there's nowhere to dry your hands after washing them. Oh, and there were lots of free drinks; I didn't know that beforehand and even ordered a case of water in advance.
