Stay a few nights · Checked in Oct 2026As a tourist, I've never seen a city as convenient, beautiful, and clean as Xiamen. Everywhere you look is scenic, with the sea visible from every angle, making it a truly refreshing experience. My accommodation was on Tower A of the Xiamen World Trade Center Twin Towers. There were designated pick-up and drop-off points for ride-hailing services. Following the owner's video directions, I quickly found the first floor of Tower A, registered with the property management, and entered the building via facial recognition. The ninth-floor room had a sea view. There's a shopping mall between Towers A and B. There are restaurants everywhere downstairs, and Shapowei Beach is right next to it on the right. A few hundred meters to the left is Baicheng Beach, and across the overpass is the Baicheng Gate of Xiamen University. Xiamen University is next to Nanputuo Temple, while the Botanical Garden requires going through a tunnel and is a little further from the Twin Towers. Taking a taxi or renting an electric scooter via QR code to get to the Eighth Market, Dongdu Passenger Terminal, Heping Wharf, Zhongshan Road, Zengcuo'an, and Hulishan Fortress is all very convenient.

The landmark Twin Towers location is easy to find, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning city night views. The room was clean, tidy, and fully equipped, with comfortable bedding. The location is superb; the shopping mall is downstairs, and it's close to Xiamen University and Shapowei, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
