The children's bed on the balcony, theoretically habitable, is practically useless; who would leave a toddler sleeping alone on the balcony? The most problematic area is the shower. You have to stand in the bathtub to shower, as there's no separate shower stall. This is quite inconvenient when bathing a toddler. Secondly, regarding transportation, it's a bit far if you rely on the subway. It took 15 minutes to walk from Jing'an Temple subway station at a normal pace; it would take even longer with luggage. Of course, if you usually take taxis, it's fine.
