Public transportation (buses, trams, and subways) is extremely convenient. Also, it's pet-friendly. A special note: be sure to contact the host in advance. The biggest issue is the parking fee of 160 yuan, which is a bit pricey.

Parking was free, but we got back from our outing at 4 PM, spent two hours wandering around, and still had to park in a spot by 6 PM and leave by 9 AM the next morning—we absolutely had to leave!
