Xiamen Travel Guide Day 1: Your itinerary can be flexibly adjusted based on your flight or high-speed train schedule. We suggest you take it easy today, stroll along the Island Ring Road, enjoy the sea breeze and waves, and then visit Zengcuo'an to sample various Xiamen delicacies. Day 2: Morning: Strange Slope (a magical section where water flows uphill), Hulishan Fortress (the world's largest cannon). Afternoon: Gulangyu Island (Sunlight Rock, Underwater World, Shuzhuang Garden, Longtou Road Commercial Street). Evening: Take a ferry from Gulangyu Island to the ferry terminal. Cross the road to Zhongshan Road, a century-old street where you can enjoy unparalleled night views of Xiamen and sample authentic old Xiamen snacks. Day 3: Botanical Garden, Shapowei (climb to the top of the World Trade Center for panoramic views of Xiamen), Nanputuo Temple (a thousand-year-old temple, very sacred!), Xiamen University (China's most romantic university; our shop is right outside the Furong Tunnel!). Day 4: One-day tour of the Tulou, a World Intangible Cultural Heritage site. Note: Dear customer... Remember to book your Gulangyu ferry tickets in advance. Our location is in Zengcuo'an, towards Xiamen University. It's a 13-minute walk to the food street. It's about a 6-minute walk to the beach and island ring road, and 12 minutes to Baicheng Beach. It's a 6-minute walk to Furong Tunnel. To get to Xiamen University, take a bus to the West Gate (7 minutes), and get off at the same stop at Shapowei. Nanputuo Temple is also a 7-minute walk away. It's a 10-minute taxi ride to Zhongshan Road. To get to Gulangyu, take the ferry from the Xiamen-Gulangyu ferry terminal; the bus takes about 30 minutes, and a taxi costs less than 30 yuan. All the above destinations are directly accessible by bus. Wanshi Botanical Garden is a 10-minute taxi ride, costing about 20 yuan (about a 3-minute walk to the bus stop). If you're taking a taxi from Xiamen Railway Station, exit from the South Square and use Didi Chuxing (a ride-hailing app) to navigate to the Qiantian Bus Station. It's closer. If you're taking the bus, walk from the North Exit to the bus terminal and take bus 52 to the Xiamen University Student Apartment stop. Directions from Xiamen North Railway Station to our store: (1) Take BRT Express 1 from North Station to Xiamen Railway Station, then transfer to bus 52 under the bridge to the Xiamen University Student Apartment terminal (bus terminal). (2) Take a Didi taxi from North Station to Qiantian Bus Station. (3) Take Metro Line 1 from Xiamen North Station to Zhenhai Road Station, then take bus 135 or 20 to Qiantian Bus Station. From the airport, you can take the Yuanxiang Airport Express. From Terminal 3, go to Gate 9 on the first floor, cross the road to buy a ticket and board. From Terminal 4, go to Gate 3 on the first floor, cross the road to buy a ticket and board. The final stop is Xiamen University Student Apartment Station. The fare is 20 yuan per person. You can also directly use Didi to book a ride to Qiantian Bus Station, which takes about 30 minutes and costs 40 yuan.
