Stay a few nights · Checked in May 2026Highly Recommended Guesthouse I recently traveled from Beijing to Guangzhou and stayed at this three-bedroom guesthouse on Beijing Road. The experience was excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Guangzhou. The guesthouse was clean and tidy, with excellent natural light. All the furniture and bedding were neat and comfortable, and the living room, kitchen, and bathroom were fully equipped. Even small items like clothes racks were thoughtfully arranged, creating a practical and cozy atmosphere. The host was a young man with excellent character and manners, and he was very welcoming and attentive. Since we were taking a night flight back, he kindly extended our check-out time by 5 hours, which was incredibly considerate and saved us from having to lug our luggage around. The location was impeccable. It's right next to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, surrounded by numerous restaurants. You can walk to Fanlou for authentic Cantonese dim sum, making it incredibly convenient for exploring and eating. It's also very close to Tianzi Wharf, where you can easily take a Pearl River night cruise to see the Canton Tower and stunning riverside views. The surrounding area boasts popular photo spots, scenic views, and shopping districts all within walking distance, offering convenient access to dining, entertainment, and more. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the host is warm and reliable, and the location is ideal for sightseeing, dining, and Pearl River cruises. Choosing this hotel in Guangzhou is a safe bet – you won't regret it!

The Tianzi Wharf, where passengers board the Pearl River night cruise, is located in the Renmin Street area of Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, on the southern end of Beijing Road, near the intersection of Yanjiang Middle Road and Beijing Road. Commonly known as "Guangzhou's First Wharf," it is Guangzhou's longest-operating Pearl River ferry wharf, with a history of over 270 years. According to the "Draft of Guangdong Gazetteer, Volume 38, Bridges," dated 1535 (the 14th year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty), "Tianzi Wharf is located outside the south gate." This indicates its original location was south of the present-day Jieguan Pavilion on Beijing Road. In the seventh year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty, Tianzi Wharf was designated as an official wharf, used by officials arriving in or leaving Guangzhou by water. Today, Tianzi Wharf serves as the starting point for the Pearl River night cruise. Tourists can board here to cruise the Pearl River from Baietan to Liede Bridge, enjoying one of Guangzhou's new eight scenic spots, "Pearl River Night Charm."
