I stayed in a detached courtyard house in Dali during the off-season. It was very close to the main street of the old town. The owner provided plenty of disposable toiletries, and the bedding was very clean. There was also a military base to the right of the door, which made me feel very safe. In the evening, my friends and I carried food back to the courtyard house from the old town. I wish I could live like this forever.

Guesthouses these days are so convenient! 🚽Cleanliness: The bedding was clearly newly changed and very clean! 🛏Facilities: I loved the mahjong machine! Haha, after exploring the ancient city, we played mahjong in the evening – the whole family had a blast!

My friends, we got a detached villa for just over 300 yuan! There were five of us, lots of beds, and plenty of space. It was absolutely fantastic, like a little home away from home. The landlord was also very kind, even though we'd never met him before; he was waiting for us late at night. The location is right on the old town street, we're extremely satisfied.
